What is the range of the Volkswagen ID.4 1ST Max?
The Volkswagen ID.4 1ST Max with the 77 kWh usable battery achieves up to 487 km of WLTP range on a single charge. Real-world range typically lands around 380-420 km depending on speed, weather and tyre choice. Finnish winter use, with friction tyres and cold temperatures, will reduce range further compared with summer conditions.
What is the battery capacity of the Volkswagen ID.4 1ST Max?
The Volkswagen ID.4 1ST Max uses an 82 kWh gross / 77 kWh usable lithium-ion battery pack, mounted under the floor for a low centre of gravity. The single rear-mounted electric motor produces 150 kW (204 hp) and 310 Nm of torque, delivering 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds with a top speed limited to 160 km/h.
How long does the Volkswagen ID.4 1ST Max take to charge?
On a 125 kW DC fast charger, the ID.4 1ST Max can charge from 5 to 80 percent in about 39 minutes. Using an 11 kW AC home wallbox, a full charge takes approximately 7 hours 30 minutes. The car uses a Type 2 / CCS2 inlet, which is the European standard for electric vehicles.
