BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupé – a new design that speaks for itself

BMW has taken bold steps towards new design in its models. The most striking changes over the past year have been the almost enormous increase in the size of the ‘kidneys’, the two-piece air intake on the front bumper.

The new design winds are also reflected in the M235i Gran Coupe’s exterior.

In a short space of time, there has been a leap from rounded and restrained shapes to quite pronounced angular shapes. Sharp cuts can be found both inside and out.

On the positive side, this again gives BMW a personal distinction from the masses, but it may take some time to get used to the new design language.

The M235i is the most powerful, sportiest and most exciting model in the 2 Series Gran Coupé range.
The front bumper is full of air intakes, and the car seems to turn heads with its sporty appearance combined with the test car’s very vivid blue Misano Blue metallic paint.

For a small car, the M235i exudes BMW’s true character on the twistier roads. The car has retained its motorsport-inspired sporty driveability, and this time around BMW doesn’t disappoint its driver either. From model to model, BMW’s M models are always well ahead of the competition in terms of driveability.
